How
do the Skagway, Yukon, and Deluxe
Yukon sightseeing tours compare?
|
| A) |
The
Skagway Sightseeing Tour: A combination of a historical Skagway City Tour and a scenic White Pass Tour that travels about 17 miles to the White Pass Summit Area. Along with the incredible beauty of the Skagway and White Pass areas, you will enjoy a narration filled with history and folklore. (3.5 hours for $50.00 / person, lunch is not provided) We recommend you visit the Alaska Gourmet Cafe on 5th Street for the best Sandwiches, Salmon Chowder, and Buffalo Chili in Skagway.
The Yukon Sightseeing Tour: Extend our White Pass Tour 38 miles beyond the White Pass Summit Area - all the way to Bove Island. Since this tour does not include a Skagway City Tour, there will be less history, more awesome scenery, and a better chance to see wildlife. (4 hours for $70.00 / person, lunch is not provided). We also recommend you visit the Alaska Gourmet Cafe on 5th Street for the best Sandwiches, Salmon Chowder, and Buffalo Chili in Skagway.

The
Deluxe Yukon Sightseeing Tour:
Extend our White Pass Tour 57 miles beyond the White Pass Summit Area - all the way to Emerald Lake. Then add a delicious Yukon style baked chicken and potato lunch and a visit to the 7,000 square foot Caribou Crossing Museum. (6 hours for $100.00 / person). After lunch, you may customize your Deluxe Yukon Sightseeing Tour by selecting one of three optional mini-tours. Choose from a dog-cart ride pulled by racing sled dogs, gold panning with a visit to our "puppy camp", or an ATV ride through the world's smallest desert. Since this tour does not include a Skagway City Tour, there will be less history and more awesome scenery. The Deluxe Yukon Sightseeing Tour may be one of your best chances to view wildlife while on a land excursion based in Skagway, Alaska. |
