Q)  While on the Skagway Salmon Fishing Tour, will we see wildlife?

A)
The Skagway Salmon Fishing Tour travels about 2 to 3 miles from Skagway’s Small Boat Harbor to where the salmon fishing is at its best.  While we are salmon fishing we occasionally see whales, orcas, porpoises, seals, eagles, other waterfowl, and of course we see lots of salmon!!!

Q) How can I have my salmon processed and shipped home?  How much will it cost?

A)
Salmon processing and shipping prices change every few days.  Captain Monte keeps track of these changes on a daily basis, and he will be able to discuss your options with you.  After returning to Skagway's Small Boat Harbor, Captain Monte will first clean and package your salmon, then make the arrangements for its processing and shipping.

Q) While on the Skagway Salmon Fishing Tour, will a lunch be provided?

A)
Since the Skagway Salmon Fishing Tour is 4 hours in length snacks and beverages are provided.  After your tour we recommend the Alaska Gourmet Cafe, located on 5th Street, for the best Sandwiches, Salmon Chowder, and Buffalo Chili in Skagway.

Q) Are there any age restrictions for taking the Skagway Salmon Fishing Tour?

A)
We normally require our young fishermen to be at least five years old.  Parents who wish to bring younger children may contact us to see if an exception may be made.
