Q)  Do I need a Passport to cross the U.S. / Canadian Border, or will a Birth Certificate do?

A)
Normally Customs requires everyone to present a Passport to confirm their citizenship.  UNITED STATES and / or CANADIAN citizens may cross the U.S. / Canadian Border using a certified copy of their Birth Certificate and a valid government issued Photo ID - i.e. Drivers License.

NOTE: Should the U.S. terror alert level rise above “elevated”, passengers who do not have a passport may be delayed and / or detained at Customs while their citizenship is verified!!!

Q) I cannot find your telephone number on your website - how can I contact Southeast Tours?

A)
We ask all of our customers to contact us by e-mail.  Simply click on “Contact Us”, fill out the “Contact Us Form”, and someone will contact you as soon as possible.  This is the surest and quickest way to have all your questions answered by a real person without the hassle of an answering machine.

Q) Does Southeast Tours have a brochure for each individual tour they can send to me?

A)
We have only one brochure, it briefly describes all tours and is designed to assist sales staff in presenting our tours to people visiting Skagway.  Our brochure is updated every 3 - 5 years.  For the most current and comprehensive tour descriptions, departure times, and pricing please refer to our website, as it is updated on an “as needed basis”.  Please feel free to print off any page(s) in our site to share with friends or family.

Q) What is the best way to print out a page from your website?

A)
On each of the major pages, near the upper left-hand corner of the page, there is a link labeled "click here for a printer friendly version of this page".  Click on the link, and after the page is loaded, select "File" from the upper menu then press "Print."

Q) I am physically challenged; can I take a tour with Southeast Tours?

A)
This will depend on your challenge and the tour you request.  When filling out the “Online Reservation Request Form” PLEASE indicate exactly what the challenge is in the text portion at the bottom of the form. When our representative contacts you to confirm your reservations they will also discuss with you any special arrangements you may need.

NOTE: We will do our best to make it possible for you to enjoy the tour of your choice.

Q) When we dock in Skagway, will Southeast Tours pick us up at our cruise ship?

A)
Since our office is conveniently located within one half-mile of all three cruise ship docks, and all customers must report to our office one hour before their tour departure time to complete payment for their tour, we ask you meet us at our office.  If you do not wish to walk, there are shuttles that will take you into the Historic District of Skagway for $1.50 / person / ride.

Q) How do we find Southeast Tours Office once we arrive in Skagway’s Historic District?

A)
A map will be attached to the bottom of "Notice of Receipt" which is emailed to you after your reservation request has been recieved by our office.  Also, at the bottom of the “Online Reservation Request Form” is a link to print out a map of Skagway’s Historic District.  Please print the map and bring it with you.  The map shows the location of our office and may help you find other points of interest.  (Our office is located in the alley way, between 2nd and 3rd Streets, about 30 feet off Broadway Street.)

Q) When returning from our tour, will Southeast Tours drop us off at our cruise ship?

A)
As each tour returns to Skagway, your driver will give you the option of being returned to your ship or being dropped off in the center of the Skagway shopping district.  Just be sure to tell your driver where you want to be let off.
